some ideas draw from the painting

This painting give me a strong feeling of contrast but also a kind of connection.the thick wall is a symbol for dividing the two group of people.left part with a single man watching movie,the black and white movie and the empty seats showing a kind of emptiness and loneliness , another side which is a woman leans against the wall staring at different direction absorbing in her own thoughts.the narrow stairs which lead to somewhere we cant see,with the dim light give a sense of mystery .hopper's painting is always unwelcome which means not let viewers involve into the place and also not let the figures in the painting "escape"from the lonely environment.
these feeling are showing both by the division walls and the windows,openings.thats what i inspired by his painting,so in my design,i also want to use various of walls,windows to define series of space showing a kind of loneliness,emptiness and darkness.
