some ideas about Mother's House

Venturi's Mother's House is a small building which reflects two keys words:complexity and contradiction.
the geometric relationship is obvious on the facade,but rather than perfect symmetric,the chimney distort the shape.the exterior looks simple whereas the interior is complex as the height of the wall changes and the some part of the floor extended.some of my parti diagrams emphasis the role of chimney as it is crucial to the building,both on the vertical circulation with the stairs and the geometric aspect for the whole building.
