researches of existing building
i did some researches of some buildings that are appearing dynamic, i realize that these buildings have some similarities which are:irregular shape,using of steel frame structure and glass, some parts are floating above the ground and with exaggerated openings
main ideas
i am trying to extend the feeling of dynamic and energetic from the beach area to local area(which is the community centre).people can gain energy and have all sorts of activities in the building rather than just staying along the beach.the keyword is dynamic,i am going to achieve it through the plan,section, 3d space and the movement of people through and around building.at the same time,i will still consider about the contour and nature of the Coogee Beach area,by using glass,opening to connent architecture form with surrouding environment.
idea development
it suddenly become quiet towards local area,if there is no math hold in the oval,people seldom go to community centre.
it is really livable around beach and oval areas,people drive to Coogee Beach to have fun,gain energy and communicate with others.it is a little bit pity that this kind of feeling stops at the back of oval(the place where community centre sits)

Exercise 2 first attempt section sketch
Coogee beach area is a place where full of energy,people come to here for all kinds of activities such as surfing,swimming,clubbing and some sports. my aim is to extend this dynamic feeling to the local area which is around the site we choose.dynamic in architecture: irregular shape,up and down movement,lots of openings,various height of the building.
